Orangeville, Utah is a beautiful, rural community that has kept it’s small town quality of life. It’s citizens enjoy the opportunity to “make a living”, raise families, enjoy safe neighborhoods and excellent schools. Orangeville was named in honor of Orange Seely, the first pioneer to settle the area. With a small beginning of four families in 1879, the city has prospered and increased to an approximate population of 1,341.
Early residents engaged in farming, stock raising, and mining in order to provide for their families. Many of those who currently live in Orangeville have this same passion which has been carried over from their pioneer ancestors. They also have a love for open space, clear blue skies, and the many recreational opportunities that can be found in the area.
